The Innovation Exchange

26 September 2022

Launching on the 20th October, The Innovation Exchange is the latest event series delivered in collaboration between Acceleration Through Innovation 2 (ATI2) and the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce.

Taking place at C-Space, Newquay, with Dave Miller of Cleaner Seas joining as the guest speaker, The Innovation Exchange is a lunch time event series where Cornish businesses can meet to engage, gather knowledge and connect within the business sector.

The Cleaner Seas Group is on a mission to make a meaningful impact on the 700,000 plastic microfibers released into the oceans every time a washing machine is used and Dave Miller will be delivering an inspirational talk on the business journey of Cleaner Seas and how they’ve got to where they are today.

The new series is the first of its kind delivered by Acceleration Through Innovation 2 and will bring Cornish business together whilst providing an opportunity for businesses to pitch their business and leave feeling inspired.

Kim Conchie, CEO of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce states “I can honestly say that, never have the values that The Innovation Exchange and Cornwall Chamber of Commerce advocate in collaborative and forward-looking innovation for Cornwall and the world have been more important to our future. It feels we as individuals and small businesses are all under pressure, and yet we know that working together in development of the green and blue economy is the right thing to do and it’s the direction that will give us long term sustainability and prosperity.”

The event is capped to maximise the engagement between those in the room and will be the first of a bi-monthly series for businesses to attend.

If you’d like to be one of the businesses to pitch on the 20th October, register today and contact atimarketing@plymouth.ac.uk to secure your pitch slot.
