We are pleased to announce that Mark Harris has joined the ATI2 team as our Business Innovation Officer. As a vital part of our engagement team, his role will champion our digital innovation platform, the Innovation Studio, and continue to develop and deliver our suite of innovation workshops.
Mark brings with him a wealth of knowledge having worked within a business support environment for over 20 years. During this time, he has developed an extensive understanding of business support programs, both past and present, and has worked directly on European, National, and local support programmes.
Throughout his career, which includes working as part of Business Link, SWIG Finance and Cornwall Development Company (to name but a few), Mark has supported thousands of individuals and businesses by helping them to start or grow their businesses.
“I’m very enthusiastic about Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and want the South West to be at the cutting edge of business development and business opportunities”, says Mark.
Since joining the ATI2 programme, Mark has achieved his Certificate of Professionalism in Innovation from the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange and is now one of only 8 Certified Innovation Practitioners in Cornwall.
“I am really looking forward to continuing to work with Cornish businesses in my role as ATI2’s Business Innovation Officer. I can’t wait to encourage them to unleash their innovation capabilities through a series of new workshops which we are planning and implementing” he adds.
