Cornwall Innovation Centres Support Club Members

1 August 2019

It goes without saying that the Cornwall Innovation Club and the Cornwall Innovation Centres have a lot in common. Not only are there similarities in name, but both are led by the University of Plymouth and each consist of a thriving community of innovative small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Therefore, it makes sense that these two powerful communities of movers and shakers are brought ever closer together.

Mark Lawther, Business Development Manager at the Cornwall Innovation Centres, explains: “the Innovation Centres have become hubs for collaboration and a recent survey found that 48% of our clients are collaborating internally. This is something that we want to encourage in the future, as well as creating an opportunity for businesses outside the centres to meet those within them. We hope that our ongoing partnership with the Cornwall Innovation Club will play a small part in achieving that.”

With that in mind, to help support collaboration between our two networks, we’re delighted to announce that Cornwall Innovation Club members will now receive the internal rate (a 30% discount) when booking meeting room space at any of the three Cornwall Innovation Centres, based in Pool, Truro and Penryn.

In addition, the Cornwall Innovation Centres have also shaped a new business support package for any start-ups looking for affordable workspace. Known as their ‘Formation Zone’ package and priced at £150 + VAT per month, they provide workspace with additional professional business support services, one year’s free membership to the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, inclusive membership to the Cornish Partnerships and access to Innovation Centre events.

For more information about the Formation Zone support package or to book a meeting room using your Cornwall Innovation Club member discount, email enquiries@cornwallinnovation.co.uk or call 01872 330030.
